hrm… About me? Well I currently live in South Georgia (Valdosta to be exact) and I work in Tallahassee, Florida (yes I know its a long drive). I grew up in Valdosta, went to Lowndes High School (go Vikes!) and Valdosta State University (go Blazers!) where I received my degree in Computer Science. I love programming and I love solving complex problems even more. Learning new skills is a passion of mine and I have recently taken up learning photography.

This year (2009) my goal was to start reading more books which I have been able to do (read the complete foundation series by Asimov as well as his short stories collection Robot Dreams). Oh! I also read Daemon which I highly recommend. I also challenged myself to start learning more programming languages. I have since picked up Groovy/Grails and a little Ruby/Rails. Hopefully in the coming months I will learn more about these languages and get a chance to use them at work.

I currently work at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (no I am not a cop) where I work on several different projects for the agency. My passion is to eventually get involved with a startup and help build a new product from the ground up.
